Adidas P.O.D: The new Boost silhouette

The Adidas POD, version S3.1, is the next great addition to the German manufacturer’s Boost line. Unlike previous silhouettes, however, the new Adidas only work in the rear third with the Boost sole, which is also integrated in a clearly visible contrast. With its almost futuristic silhouette, an exciting new shoe that sets a visual exclamation mark awaits you with its attention to detail and many accents.

The Adidas P.O.D becomes a footwear work of art

The dominant colour of the new Adidas POD sneaker is the classic black Colorway, an undoubted special feature of the German manufacturer with the three stripes. Even this tone in tone has been integrated in black, while the laces also "shine" in a black shade - and thus come through quite nicely in the background. Contrasts are still seen to, of course. On the one hand, the Adidas lettering comes in a radiant white, as is the renowned Boost sole on the other. This makes it very visually distinctive, as the middle and front part of the shoe work with the traditional EVA foam cushioning. The work of art is held together by the narrow section on the side, immediately identifiable in summery lime green. It combines the EVA cushioning together with the Boost sole, the latter also protruding succinctly above the shoe. It also has occasional details in a strong neon blue, integrated laterally and between the dotted laces, among others. With this, Adidas is consciously breaking new ground already "tested" with NMDs, among other things. Once again these rectangular, sparingly placed elements on the sole not only provide further stability, but have also long since become the secret trademark of the new Adidas sneakers.

Adidas POD: The success combination of subtle base and thrilling neon

A look at Adidas’ history and its latest releases, especially the NMDs, leaves no doubt that the brand’s designers are fit for the future - in the truest sense of the word. The Adidas P.O.D doesn’t necessarily work with typical retro elements either, instead building on a concise silhouette and carefully placed spots of colour, which are even courageously incorporated in neon colours to match the subtle base. The cloth upper makes the Adidas POD the ideal choice in nice weather, but even in the transitional period, you can cloak your feet in a small work of art.
