S eptember 10 2016, the 3rd anniversary of Sneakerness Paris, one thing you should now of the previous 2 years is that each year it has got bigger and better and this year was just that, For this weekend SN Paris moved away from the Centquarte location and took residence in the Cite de la Mode et du Design. It was a bold move but a justified move. Situated down in the basement with the graffiti clad concrete urban environment it was the perfect backdrop to welcome Paris’s sneaker community.

The somewhat open fronted facade looking out on the river really gave this location a unique and cool feel. With a metro station very close by and superb facilities on site sneaker heads came through by their thousands and we were there to capture it. We don’t recall one lull in the numbers all weekend, testament to the work the Sneakerness Paris team put in ...

D ay 1 at Sneakerness Paris and it didn’t take long for the heat to start pouring in. We soon spotted the Nike Air Tech Challenge IV also known as the "Agassi" on foot. Debuted in 1992 and rocked famously by the great Andre Agassi on the orange clay at the French Open tournament at Roland Garros. The Tech Challenge IV is one of the most recogniseable tennis shoes of all time with their psychedelic heels. It also made a long awaited return to shelves this year we are happy to see it back !

W hilst scanning the many tables over flowing with the finest sneakers you could ever wish to see in one place this New Balance grabbed our attention in unmistakably French style. The stunning Tricolor 576 'France' from way back in 2010. Still remains one of the most desirable 576's to date. It was good to see it here in its homeland, a truly beautiful sneaker .

D ay 1 at Sneakerness Paris is a wrap! Nothing but good vibes and good times had by all. The new venue was packed from start to finish .

M oving in to Sunday and Day 2 of Sneakerness Paris, we saw this! Tn's on Tn's, Paris' love for our Nike Air Max Plus Tuned is second to none. We just knew we would see something special during the weekend, this collector didn't disappoint. At his last count he had 138 pairs of Tn's!!! Now that is #approved This is just a small glimpse of the sheer depth of his Tn collection. His phone picture album was proof of that !

Y oung or old, deadstock or vintage, Jordan continues to transcend generations among the sneaker community. Evident here in this young collector (son of @joya_paris ) enjoying his Jordan 6 "Oreo's" at Sneakerness Paris This event is truly special in that respect, it brings together people from all corners of the sneaker community to share in their singular passion of sneakers .

S neakerness Paris 2016 concludes and once again the Parisian sneaker community came out in full force to represent their city and show they really know what’s up. We're honored to be a part of this weekend and happy to send the lucky locker winners home with smiles on their faces. Big thanks to everyone who passed through our section and showed love. Until the next one ...
